Princess Party
Discovering Identity and Purpose in Christ — a printable volunteer run sheet for the church to host this gathering for girls.
Why this program exists
Girls and boys need to know who they are in Christ and why they are here: to live for God. The first gathering is on 1 Peter 2:9. The second is on Galatians 5:16 and Romans 12:2. In every gathering, teach that the Lord cares for body and soul, in words that fit their age.
For parents
This Princess Party is designed to help girls know who they are in Christ and why they are here: to live for Jesus. The gathering is on 1 Peter 2:9.
Write their name on the letter from Jesus (see the sample letters at the end of this page). They read it at the table and take it home, so the Word stays with them.
For volunteers
Print this page for your volunteer team. The schedule keeps Worship and Prayer unhurried. Walk the stations before the children arrive, then pray together.
2-hour schedule
Suggested event window: 2 hours (e.g., 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM or 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
Heart of the evening: unhurried praise, receiving the Word, personal prayer, and kneeling before the Lord.

Before the gathering
- Arrival & team prayer (30 min prior). Gather all volunteers. Walk through stations and pray together — not just for smooth logistics, but for the Holy Spirit to encounter every girl.
- Volunteer modesty. Volunteers wear modest attire to serve as a living, graceful example of honoring the Lord with our bodies.
Volunteers dress modestly so the girls have a living example, not just a line in the teaching.
- Environment setup. Pink or white tablecloths, flowers, simple place settings, King Jesus banner, no open candles on tables, and a verified food allergies list.
First gathering — night-of walkthrough
Part I — Welcome & Care (0:00 – 0:55)
- Welcome (0:00 – 0:10). Greet each girl warmly by name with excitement and joyful Christian music playing. Scatter flower petals along the entrance path.
Volunteer Heart: The petals and warm welcome show that she is honored and precious to God.
- Parlor / Pamper Station (0:10 – 0:25). Offer gentle, age-appropriate care: light nail polish, hair styling or floral clips, henna stickers, or light lip gloss.
Volunteer Heart: This is a station of loving care, speaking affirming words over each girl while styling her hair or nails.
- Letter at the Table (0:25 – 0:30). Seat the girls. Hand each girl her personalized envelope containing the Letter from Jesus. Give them a few quiet minutes to read it before food is served.
Volunteer Heart: Seeing her personal name written on the letter helps her realize Jesus knows her intimately.
- Dinner (0:30 – 0:55). Give thanks before eating. Briefly share why God cares about fueling our bodies with wholesome foods. Serve salad, chicken or fish, fruit, water, and a healthy dessert.
Part II — Worship & The Word (0:55 – 1:20)
- Praise & Worship (0:55 – 1:10). Lead live or recorded acoustic Christian praise. If using digital music on YouTube, use songs with only lyrics and ensure ads are disabled to avoid distractions. Encourage girls to sing from their hearts.
- The Word (1:10 – 1:20). Speaker brings a short, age-tailored message:
- Identity & purpose from 1 Peter 2:9.
- Honoring God with our bodies through modesty and wisdom.
- Safe boundaries: good touch vs. bad touch, and discernment with media and friends.
Part III — Crown, Ring & Holy Spirit Prayer (1:20 – 1:50) — Invite them to the altar
- Crowning Ceremony (1:20 – 1:30). Place a simple crown on her head and speak this blessing:
Spoken Altar Blessing (Crown):
“[Name], receive this crown. You are a daughter of the King of Kings, part of His royal priesthood, created to worship Him all your days.”
- The Ring (1:30 – 1:38). Place a ring on her hand:
Spoken Altar Blessing (Ring):
“[Name], wear this ring as a sign that you are holy, chosen, and set apart for King Jesus in body, mind, and spirit.”
Girls returning for a second gathering do not need a new ring unless they outgrew their previous one.
- Kneeling Prayer for the Holy Spirit (1:38 – 1:50). Let all leaders and girls kneel together at the altar. Pray earnestly, asking the Holy Spirit to fill each girl with His love, peace, purity, and power.
Volunteer Heart: We kneel to model reverence, humility, and genuine honor before God's holy presence.
- Banner Photos & Dismissal (1:50 – 2:00). Take keepsake photos of each girl in her crown at the King Jesus banner. Ensure she takes home her Letter from Jesus, crown, and ring.
Second gathering
Use the same 2-hour order as the first gathering: welcome, parlor, letter, dinner, worship, the Word, crown, ring, prayer, and photos.
The Word that night is Galatians 5:16 and Romans 12:2: walk by the Spirit, and renew your mind with the Word. The Holy Spirit and the Scripture guide daily choices, thoughts, and actions. That is how they learn to turn from the flesh and walk with the Lord.
If a child already received a ring at the first gathering, they don't need another. Children who are new get a ring. As they grow, you can replace a ring that no longer fits.
Follow up with the parents. Ask them to keep talking at home about identity, purpose, and a pure life — body and soul.
Body and soul
The Lord cares about their body and their soul. In every gathering, teach that in words that fit their age. Talk about good touch and bad touch, and about being wise with media and with people.
Scripture
This night rests on 1 Peter 2:9:
“You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”
In Christ they are:
- a chosen generation
- a royal priesthood
- a holy nation
- God's special people
Sample letters
Print each letter on separate paper for the dinner table. Write the child's name. They read it at the table and take it home.
Letter from Jesus — girls and boys
Dear ________________________,
I knew you before you were formed in your mother's womb. I knit you together, beautifully and wonderfully, and I have plans to prosper you and not to harm you. I know the thoughts before they come into your mind.
I created you in My own image. I love you forever. No matter what, I will be with you in trouble and in happiness. No one can separate you from My love.
I am Almighty God; there is none beside Me. I was before the foundations of the earth. I came to the earth in human form and have forgiven your sins and the sins of others. I sacrificed My life on the cross for you. Every drop of My blood is for your redemption and to wash your inner being. I conquered death and rose again, so that through Me you might live for eternity. I am praying for you always, and I have given you My Holy Spirit to live in you.
You can talk with Me at any time — about your feelings, your struggles, and for every decision you make, you can depend on Me. I will speak to you through the Bible, and through the Holy Spirit in your inner being. You grow in My likeness as you meditate on My Word and obey it. I sing over you and take care of you as My child, as the apple of My eye.
I gave you wisdom to choose what is right. I am always there to protect and guide you through My Holy Spirit.
I love you forever,
JESUS

Letter from Jesus — girls ages 9 and older
Dear ________________________,
I am Almighty God; there is none beside Me. I came to the earth in human form and have forgiven your sins and the sins of others. I sacrificed My life on the cross for you. Every drop of My blood is for your redemption and to wash your inner being. I rose again that I might pray for you always, and I have given you My Holy Spirit to live in you.
I am with you always. You can hear Me when you read My Word, the Bible. I accept you as you are.
I clothed you with embroidered cloth and put sandals of fine leather on you. I dressed you in fine linen and covered you with beautiful garments. I adorned you with jewelry: I put bracelets on your arms and a necklace around your neck, and I put a ring on you, earrings on your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head.
I made your beauty perfect. You are Mine, and I am yours.
I sing over you and take care of you as My child.
I love you forever,
JESUS
