Prince Party
Discovering Identity and Purpose in Christ — a printable volunteer run sheet for the church to host this gathering for boys.
Why this program exists
Girls and boys need to know who they are in Christ and why they are here: to live for God. The first gathering is on 1 Peter 2:9. The second is on Galatians 5:16 and Romans 12:2. In every gathering, teach that the Lord cares for body and soul, in words that fit their age.
For parents
This Prince Party is designed to help boys know who they are in Christ and why they are here: to live for Jesus. The gathering is on 1 Peter 2:9.
Write their name on the letter from Jesus (see the sample letters at the end of this page). They read it at the table and take it home, so the Word stays with them.
For volunteers
Print this page for your volunteer team. The schedule keeps Worship and Prayer unhurried. Walk the stations before the children arrive, then pray together.
2-hour schedule
Suggested event window: 2 hours (e.g., 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM or 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
Heart of the evening: unhurried praise, receiving the Word, personal prayer, and kneeling before the Lord.

Before the gathering
- Arrival & team prayer (30 min prior). Gather all men and youth volunteers. Walk through stations and pray together for God's Spirit to raise up godly, courageous young men.
- Volunteer modesty & presentation. Volunteers wear clean, modest attire (e.g., button-down or polo) as a living model of honorable young men and fathers in Christ.
Volunteers dress modestly so the boys have a living example, not just a line in the teaching.
- Environment setup. Clean white or neutral table décor, King Jesus banner, shoe-shining sponges/cloths, hair comb/pomade, no open flames, and a verified food allergy sheet.
First gathering — night-of walkthrough
Part I — Welcome & Care (0:00 – 0:55)
- Welcome (0:00 – 0:10). Greet each boy with a strong handshake or high five, genuine enthusiasm, and uplifting Christian music. Scatter petals along the walkway.
Volunteer Heart: Boys rarely experience honor of this kind; it communicates dignity immediately.
- Parlor / Grooming Station (0:10 – 0:25). Provide simple, masculine grooming: shoe shine, hair combing/styling, and a light mist of cologne.
Volunteer Heart: This practical care teaches self-respect, dignity, and being presentable before the King.
- Letter at the Table (0:25 – 0:30). Escort boys to their tables. Give each boy his personalized envelope with the Letter from Jesus. Allow time for them to read.
- Dinner (0:30 – 0:55). Open with prayer. Offer a 60-second word about building strong, healthy bodies to serve God. Serve a hearty, healthy meal: chicken or fish, salad, fruit, water, and healthy dessert.
Part II — Worship & The Word (0:55 – 1:20)
- Praise & Worship (0:55 – 1:10). Lead energetic, reverent praise songs. Encourage boys to sing with boldness and freedom before God.
- The Word (1:10 – 1:20). Speaker brings a crisp, inspiring message:
- Identity as God's chosen son and warrior of light (1 Peter 2:9).
- Standing firm for righteousness, guarding their eyes, thoughts, and bodies.
- Safe boundaries: good touch vs. bad touch, and walking away from corrupt media or negative peer pressure.
Part III — Crown, Ring & Holy Spirit Prayer (1:20 – 1:50) — Invite them to the altar
- Crowning Ceremony (1:20 – 1:30). Place a crown on his head and speak this blessing:
Spoken Altar Blessing (Crown):
“[Name], receive this crown. You are a son of the Most High God, a royal priesthood, called to lead, protect, and worship Him.”
- The Ring (1:30 – 1:38). Place a ring on his hand:
Spoken Altar Blessing (Ring):
“[Name], wear this ring as a reminder that you are holy, set apart for God's purpose, and called to walk in strength and integrity.”
Boys returning for a second gathering keep their original ring unless a replacement is needed.
- Kneeling Prayer for the Holy Spirit (1:38 – 1:50). Leaders and boys kneel side-by-side at the altar. Pray with authority and tenderness, asking the Holy Spirit to fill them with boldness, wisdom, and a pure heart.
Volunteer Heart: Seeing older men and youth kneel before Jesus leaves an unforgettable mark of godly humility on a young boy.
- Banner Photos & Dismissal (1:50 – 2:00). Capture pictures of each boy at the King Jesus banner with his crown and ring. Remind him to post his letter where he can read it daily.
Second gathering
Use the same 2-hour order as the first gathering: welcome, parlor, letter, dinner, worship, the Word, crown, ring, prayer, and photos.
The Word that night is Galatians 5:16 and Romans 12:2: walk by the Spirit, and renew your mind with the Word. The Holy Spirit and the Scripture guide daily choices, thoughts, and actions. That is how they learn to turn from the flesh and walk with the Lord.
If a child already received a ring at the first gathering, they don't need another. Children who are new get a ring. As they grow, you can replace a ring that no longer fits.
Follow up with the parents. Ask them to keep talking at home about identity, purpose, and a pure life — body and soul.
Body and soul
The Lord cares about their body and their soul. In every gathering, teach that in words that fit their age. Talk about good touch and bad touch, and about being wise with media and with people.
Scripture
This night rests on 1 Peter 2:9:
“You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”
In Christ they are:
- a chosen generation
- a royal priesthood
- a holy nation
- God's special people
Sample letters
Print each letter on separate paper for the dinner table. Write the child's name. They read it at the table and take it home.
Letter from Jesus — girls and boys
Dear ________________________,
I knew you before you were formed in your mother's womb. I knit you together, beautifully and wonderfully, and I have plans to prosper you and not to harm you. I know the thoughts before they come into your mind.
I created you in My own image. I love you forever. No matter what, I will be with you in trouble and in happiness. No one can separate you from My love.
I am Almighty God; there is none beside Me. I was before the foundations of the earth. I came to the earth in human form and have forgiven your sins and the sins of others. I sacrificed My life on the cross for you. Every drop of My blood is for your redemption and to wash your inner being. I conquered death and rose again, so that through Me you might live for eternity. I am praying for you always, and I have given you My Holy Spirit to live in you.
You can talk with Me at any time — about your feelings, your struggles, and for every decision you make, you can depend on Me. I will speak to you through the Bible, and through the Holy Spirit in your inner being. You grow in My likeness as you meditate on My Word and obey it. I sing over you and take care of you as My child, as the apple of My eye.
I gave you wisdom to choose what is right. I am always there to protect and guide you through My Holy Spirit.
I love you forever,
JESUS

Letter from Jesus — boys ages 9 and older
Dear ________________________,
I am the Lord your God, the King of Kings, and there is none beside Me. I formed you with My own hands, and I placed My strength and My breath inside you.
I gave My life for you on the cross. I shed My blood so that your sins are forgiven, your heart is made pure, and you can stand blameless before God. I rose from the grave victorious over darkness, and I have put My Holy Spirit inside you so you never have to walk alone.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for I am with you wherever you go. When the world tries to tell you who you are, remember whose you are: you are My son, chosen and called to walk in truth, honor, and purity.
Put on the full armor of God. Let truth be your belt, righteousness your chest plate, and faith your shield. Guard your eyes, protect your heart, and speak My Word with boldness. Treat others with honor, protect those who are weak, and stand firm when temptations come.
Whenever you face a battle or a tough choice, call on Me. I will give you wisdom and courage. You belong to My royal kingdom, and I am preparing you for great purpose.
I love you forever,
JESUS
